DARWIN® Microneedling is the delivery of radiofrequency energy through insulated gold microneedles. The RF wave energy will penetrate the epidermal basal melanocytes and form a precisely controlled fractional coagulation zone in the dermis, heating the collagen fibers in the dermis to 55°C-65°C, thus destroying the sebaceous glands as well as the acne branches and stimulating collagen regeneration, which is effective for repairing postpartum scars and stretch marks.
During pregnancy, the belly gradually increases in size to accommodate the growth of the fetus, and the skin becomes thinner and thinner. The skin is made up of epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. When a mother’s abdomen is rapidly expanded during pregnancy, the epidermis and dermis generally have enough elasticity to match, but the subcutaneous tissue may not be able to keep up with the speed of skin expansion, and if the collagen fibres contained in the subcutaneous tissue break because they cannot withstand the expansion, the integrity of the skin will be destroyed and stretch marks will appear.
